Learners select risky social media posts and explain the potential consequences, including identity theft, personal safety risks and unauthorised use of personal information.
Task 4 – Recognising Safe Websites
Learners identify secure websites by recognising HTTPS, padlock icons and security certificates before capturing evidence from a live website.
Task 5 – Safe vs Risky Social Media Posts
Learners create two versions of the same social media post, comparing safe and unsafe online behaviours while selecting a trustworthy website to recommend.
Task 6 – Recap Quiz
Learners complete an 8-question True or False quiz to reinforce their understanding of protecting personal information, online privacy and recognising secure websites.
